Embark offer exhibition opportunities to current and recently graduated MFA students in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Applicants for Embark's juried exhibtions must be current MFA candidates or apply in the year of their graduation from one of the following Bay Area institutions: San Francisco Art Institute, UC Berkeley, California College of the Arts, Mills College, San Francisco State University, UC Davis, San Jose State University, or Stanford. Applicants for all other open calls must have graudated from a MFA program within the last 5 years. Please reference each exhibition's description for its requirements.

Applicants must be able to attend 3 required meetings at Embark Gallery, located in Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco. Please pay close attention to the dates of the artwork drop-off, exhibition opening, and artwork pick-up of each exhibition to which you apply.

Applicants may apply for one or all shows. Applying to more than one show will not affect your chances of being selected.
